Object detection without expensive training
Our industrial customers need a way to find their parts with robust recognition. The tough conditions in heavy manufacturing, oil refineries or reycyling do not always allow labeling the produced items. With the new GUSTAV Edge Hardware and our new VISIONTOOLS software package we close exactly this gap. The costs reduction are in the seven-digit million range when you consider that labeling can cost up to 100-200 euros per workpiece. For example, with 100,000 workpieces, we are talking about an investment of 10-20 million euros per year. Not to mention that it takes several years to do the marking. The video shows a visualisation where we detect the same object with just one image. The goal here is not to detect similar objects. We want to find exactly the same object.
