RB-RTK GPS

Smart cities, robotics, and autonomous machines depend on the accuracy of their localization when highly optimized AI models are used to automatically detect objects or events. The problem of positioning is inherent in GPS systems. Standard SPS and DGPS corrections are out of date when it comes to historical collection of contiguous or real-time data.

With RB-GPS we start a series of high resolution GPS , low power and small modules which can be used with all REBOTNIX GUSTAV Edge systems. Each RB-GPS module has a 3 channel multiplexer. This means, beside the USB interface, we have 2 more UART interfaces, which are also available as USB device via FTDI bridge. This allows a direct communication without additional hardware directly on a module. RTCM messages can be fed directly into the module. As partner for all RTK-GPS we use the UBX or NEMA standard from UBLOX in Switzerland.

RB-GPS will be available in June 2023 as M.2 version, as dual version with LTE or as quad version with LoraWan, LTE, WIFI. A stand-a-alone version with external enclosures will also be available.
